Everything you need to know before gates open
Dress code is formal and funky. For the men, wear a suit or a sport coat with dress pants. For the women… And for everyone, add a bit of funky flair.
We highly recommend staying downtown so you can be close to both venues. Staying north of the river gives you more dining options but staying just south of the river puts you close to Barton Springs. Also, visit the travel page to see our hotel recommendations.
We will provide transportation between the Umlauf and the Austin Central Library. It will take multiple forms, each more exciting than the last.
If you choose to drive to the ceremony we will have your car impounded and sold for scraps.
We will open RSVPs when the invites are sent out 4 months before the wedding date. We ask that you RSVP by March 1st. But if you already know you cannot make it, please email us at [email protected], thanks!
While we love all of our guest’s little-ones (and especially yours), we kindly request an adults-only celebration.
April in Austin usually hovers between 80 and 60 degrees Fahrenheit. It is not a very wet month typically, but there’s always a slight chance of rain during the spring. This is a popular time to visit, but not a busy time since there are no large scale events.
Yes. The ceremony is outdoors at the Umlauf Sculpture Garden and the reception is indoors at the Austin Central Library.
